Welcome to Cloud 9. Our service aims to provide holistic support and opportunities for young people and adults in which we thrive so that you can strive. Cloud 9 was founded in the second half of 2021 by two classmates who studied together which has come to life in hopes of becoming a strong and unique service for the community with reliance to our "9 Core Values".

Here at Cloud 9, we are big believers in Leadership. A better life begins with taking actions in becoming the leader of your own story. Action's speaks louder then words.

One person is all it takes to come into your life to guide, shape and transform your life, so let us support you in realizing and reaching your full potential. Our goal is to have success stories where young people and adults are able to look back in 10 years' time and be reminded that it all started with Cloud 9.

Support Service

Balancing everyday life can get tricky. Cloud 9 can help make your day to day living easier by taking you to appointments, assisting with shopping, helping with household tasks and more. We can also just take you out for the day to get some fresh air or go to the cinemas! Everyone needs a helping hand at some point in their lives so let us do the everyday tasks with you! It is important to develop life-skills as early as possible to shape independence as young people grow and foster into adulthood. We also do group support sessions to improve social skills and to build relationships with other participants. Guaranteed to have fun!

Mentorship

Cloud 9 Mentors are all unique and come from different backgrounds with a variety of interests and passions. We do 1:1 mentoring with a high focus on relationship building. Cloud 9 Mentors are here to listen and support you through whatever it is that you want to embark on whether it's finding a new sport interest or landing you into your first ever job! We mentor all kinds of people! We are LGBTQI+ Friendly!

Short Term Accommodation

Come join us for a getaway trip! We can support you AND have fun at the same time. Our Short Term Accommodation Service will cover you with accommodation expenses, food, and any activities along the way. Beach side view stays? Say no more! We also do Respite for families who are looking to have some much needed "Me Time". 

Youth Hub Programs

Planning of a Cloud 9 Youth Hub is underway! The purpose of this Youth Hub is to give access to Cloud 9 participants to have access to a variety of thing's to do with their NDIS funding. This funky Youth Hub will be colorful and vibrant with multiple programs and things to do such as group movie sessions, cooking classes, art's and craft's, fitness programs, educational programs and more! Stay tuned.

Behind the Cloud 9 Hummingbird

Despite its size, the Hummingbird has thrived by evolving with its environment and represents diversity, agility, healing and collaboration. Cloud 9's Mentors inspire our young leaders through the symbolism of the hummingbird to transform into future leaders.

Our mentors come from diversity and aim to seek value in our differences and in the variety of new experiences to continue to grow and evolve.

The hummingbird's agility allows it to hover in stillness and in movement for whatever their situation needs. We strive for agility to be able to move through life and all that it throws at you to land on your own two feet.

The hummingbird feeds from nectar of flowers and, in turn, returns the favor by pollinating and helping its environment to grow. This shows it is important to identify and work alongside our environments and each other to give back and create positive changes in our community.

My experience with Cloud 9 is good. To begin with I didn't like the idea of having a support worker. I didn't want to be followed around. I suggested that we go fishing. I like to go fishing with Letoe, it helps me get through Monday at school. Letoe is a solid bloke. I feel safe around him.
